Something that fills my creative tank as a wedding photographer, is collaborating with other professionals to shoot a themed editorial. This shoot was designed by my friend Gizelle from Posh By Gee. The color palette is a classic and timeless and super chic. Black and white, with gold accents is a wedding color palette that will always look high-end. The place settings are elevated and inviting, and wow the centerpieces by Impekable Flowers were modern wedding perfection.
This event showcasing the talented central Florida wedding vendors was hosted at a beautiful new wedding venue in Orlando called The Black Barn. This is such a versatile and beautiful wedding venue with a reception space, covered ceremony space, and cocktail hour courtyard all right next to each other. Not only is it beautiful, but they have some super cute friendly animals on the property. It really feels like a breath of fresh air and an escape from the city. All of the stunning wedding dresses you see are from the beautiful Something New Bridal Boutique in Winter Park, FL. The suits are custom fitted by local tailor , Lordey.
Over the past few years, the wedding cake has become much more personal and intimate. The simplified and perfectly executed cake designs with personalized touches are as heart felt as they are delicious with buttercream icing and super luscious layers of cake. These beauties are by the extremely talented Cherika from Chic Confections.
For a closer look at some of the details, and the stunning makeup by the super talented Jennisse at JMI Makeup. Your wedding day makeup is critical for amazing photographs. You want to have a professional who knows how to enhance your beauty, as well as ensure your makeup will look great in photographs and last all night long.
Part of the fun in these shoots for me is that I get to play with accessories or ideas that are unique and might not be for every bride. The piece I had fun with this shoot was an incredible statement necklace made of faux pearls that accented the beauty of the model, the makeup, and the refined and elegant dress she wore. Photography for this shoot done by Oyoko Studio Weddings.
